Hiatus?
Wow.. Its been a while since I updated my blog eh?.. Well, please understand.. I am now staying at staff housing which has NO internet connection so its hard for me to update or go online to upload pictures.. hahaha.. The last 3 weeks have been sooooo busy at the hotel.. From mid-July or specifically from the 24th July til 26th July, It was the HM celebration.. Occupancy was nearly full and reach about 80%.. other than that, I joined the carnival after working hours that's why i was also exhausted.. hehehehe.. After the HM celebration came the Brunei Open golf tournament where many international players came to play golf.. My side of course was also busy with players coming over to change their departure times or buying tickets to another country.. Then after the Brunei Open finally came the BRIDEX.. (short for BRunei International Defence EXhibition).. Its an International exhibition and you know, guns and military stuffs.. I met many business people or say nice ones.. ^__^ .. The porte corche was turned into an 'airport' where the luggage scanning thing was set up.. you know what i mean right? The metal detector thing?.. Yeah, that's incase someone bring guns into the hotel and stuff like that.. And it was during this BRIDEX week that we had to work for 12 hours.. and of course we can claim it.. As of now, I still have 3 public holidays and 13 hours to claim.. This, according to my boss, has to be cleared before the end of ramadhan.. Yes, since it is already the start of ramadhan, the hotel is very very veerry quiet so lots of my colleagues got their public holiday.. Anyway, that's about it.. Oh and last thursday, we had an FO Appreciation BBQ party at Ms. Rozey's place for all our hard work during the busy period.. Will include some photo afterwards.. After the appreciation party, me and my family went down to miri for the weekend (21-22nd) but i didn't take much pictures.. I got a pair of shoes and CDS.. Mirotic album version C and The Secret Code!! I was actually aiming for 'Stand by you' but its not available.. Oh well, I will get it next time.. hmmm, got a pair of jeans too but nothing more... hahahhaa I got a new photobook! wheeeeeeeeee~... Marvince turning 1 bday party was held on the 22nd.. he is sooo adorable .. anyway, pictures coming on soon.... after ... THIS~ cheeers guys..

Special?
Special Occasion? Yeahh, something like the HM 63rd Birthday Celebration.. Actually, I dno how come it is today?... But anyhoo, I guess it is because of the coming celebration also.. That is this weekend.. The HM 63rd Birthday celebration! There is gonna be a Carnival abd of course the Fireworks on the 25th down at the West Headland! Room promotions, Tickets booklet are available from the Activity Desk to be used to play games during the carnival!! This includes, the Lost Ship which is a 'haunted' ship.. So come and join in the fun!!Anyway, back to the pictures.. We had a 'special' menu today.. As seen in the pictures, the tables are arranged nicely.. There are table cloth and candle too.. and the Whole canteen is decorated with HM's picture and the offers for the buying of 10 carnival booklets and get 1 free booklet OR a free T-Shirt! Well, outside the canteen, the HR dept are busy giving out the T-shirts for the staffs. My shirt was a size 'M'.. NO they don't have a size S, let alone size XS.. hahahaha.. well, I just ask Vki to bring it to resize with a sample of her HSBC shirt (of course I tried her shirt before i let her take it).. So yea.. now we're just hanging out at Noi's place.. Nope didn't go to Japanese class coz we were at Kimchi having dinner and forgot about it.. YES i forgotten about it.. I upsell my first room today.. Uncle Naweh came to extend his voucher and said they want to check in this weekend.. apparently, they do not know about thecarnival.. and when i briefly explained to them what will go on during the weekend, he booked a DLX room (his voucher is for Superior room), i did inform about the additional charges but he didn't mind.. so there! with the help of Zul Azmi (Thanks btw) I managed my first upselling.. Got to learn how to reserve and checking in and out... Sigh.. anyhoo... My tummy feels like its about to blow coz i am so so so full!!.. hehehehhehe Take care all....

FO Brunch
Afternoon shifts went out for a sushi brunch last week! hehehe.. well, some only went as its last minute.. hahaha.. anyway, Those who went were Hairul, Meezan, Rozlan, Azmi, Dillah and me.. Yeah, the only girl.. Syaziyah was supposed to join us but she couldn't make it.. anyway, gonna have a bigger group next time!.. FO dept, with some new staffs coming in, hopefully... ^___^

Its OLI PETTIGREW!!
Hey Hey!! Oliver Pettigrew or better known as the Sony guy.. stayed at the Empire Hotel!! Yeah, at first i didn't know who he was.. Then i spotted the word 'celebrity host' on the itinerary.. So i went and googled him.. well, guess what? I took picture with him and my colleague Syaziyah, who was a big fan.. The pictures taken before he goes.. He was here for some filming? I don't know either.. anyhoo... There was this annoying lady who went and say 'ada guest mau check out bah!' that was when we were taking picture and Syaziyah was asking for his autograph.. I mean we are ALSO with a guest and the thing is, that lady was asking Syaziyah to do the job when SHE infact can do it herself?? And also when we went down for dinner, WITH the permission of our supervisor in charge.. we were having dinner when she came and said "banyak guest bah tu d atas, why you all 3 menghilang??".. I was thinking like ' IF got banyak guests, then why do YOU come down????' anyway, I don't really care coz I went down with permission of the supervisor so whatever.. That's all people!!! Hehehe I think Noi is jealous with this pic, Just post this on facebook and surprise her..! Take care.. **hugss**
