JUMP Martial Arts Performance

Wondering what this 'JUMP' show is all about? ‘JUMP’ is a Korean Comic Martial Arts Performance that has created a new genre, non-verbal comic martial arts performance, by expertly blending Asian martial arts including the ancient Korean martial arts of Taekwondo with acrobatics and slapstick comedy. JUMP is about flipping, punching and kicking, all executed in a jaw-dropping, gasp-inducing and gut-busting manner. It gives you a rare opportunity to see a live performance of the kind of action you would see in Jackie Chan or Matrix TM movies. `JUMP' has been performed for over 5,000 times and over two million people around the globe have seen it in USA, UK as well as Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. This year, the well-known modern dance troupe, YEGAM, will hold the performance on September 20 at 7.45pm at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall, Empire Hotel and Country Club in Brunei Darussalam.

An advert on it was released on the Borneo Bulletin last Saturday, 11th September 2010. That there is a LIMITED tickets that is available at Pan Bright Travel. Too bad, I read the article in the evening, office is already closed. So I called up Monday morning – KB and Bandar office – The tickets were already all snatched. I was disappointed and search high and low to no avail. My last resort was to contact my Sonsaengnim (Korean – Teacher) and managed to get a ticket – Just one. I am meeting Nisa and Taiyibah there so… wooohoooooo~ Can’t wait!!

Check out the pictures below~

It looks like a really fun and enjoyable performance! I checked the reviews and it says that this show SHOULD NOT BE MISSED!!! I am just plain excited! Funny how they said it was free of charge but need a ticket to get in. It is quite misleading. =_= Well, maybe it is a norm on how F.O.C. = showing up on that day and you can get in... Right? Later on I understood why they did that, so that it wouldn't be crowded and it is a fix number of people. Bad news for those who didn't manage to get the ticket.
